Before you start - AI provider changes
Your agent needs an API key from an AI provider - this is separate from a Claude subscription (claude.ai). You only pay for the tokens your campaigns actually consume, with no monthly minimum.
Your options
- Stay on Anthropic - create an API account at platform.claude.com, add credits, and generate an API key. Same models, same quality, you just pay per token instead of a flat subscription.
- Switch to a cheaper provider - Google Gemini is also supported and is the most affordable option. See Choose your AI for a full comparison.

After upgrading
Your existing campaigns carry over automatically. Go to chat.bereach.ai/campaigns and click Resume on each one.
v1.6 adds the complete outreach pipeline - your campaigns now handle connection requests, detect acceptance, send first messages, follow up, and handle replies automatically. Existing outreach campaigns get the option to add the connect step. New campaigns include it by default.
Set up billing alerts
If your AI credits run out (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), BeReach pauses your campaigns automatically and shows a clear error. When you add AI credits, campaigns resume on their own. We recommend setting up billing alerts on your AI provider's dashboard to avoid surprises.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my existing campaigns?
No. All campaigns, contacts, and context carry over automatically. Just update the plugin and resume.
What happens if my AI credits run out?
Campaigns pause automatically. You'll see a clear error message in the Campaigns page. Add credits on your AI provider's dashboard and campaigns resume on their own.
Can I go back to the old version?
We don't recommend it. v1.6 is a strict improvement - all existing features work the same way, with the complete outreach pipeline on top.
