This Cookie Policy explains how BeReach uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data more generally.
A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device that allows a specific browser or device to be recognised. "Similar technologies" include local storage and pixel-free, aggregated analytics. We keep our use of these technologies deliberately small.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary / functional
These are technically required to operate the website and the app, for example to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and protect against abuse. The site does not work properly without them, so they do not require consent. We rely on Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.
Analytics
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the website is used and to measure performance, in aggregate. We do not sell any data.
Advertising / measurement
We run a small number of advertising-measurement pixels so we can tell whether our own ad campaigns are working (e.g. how many people who saw or clicked an ad went on to sign up). These only load after you accept, alongside the analytics tools above.
We do not currently run LinkedIn advertising tags. That integration exists in our tooling but is switched off. We do not run any advertising tags beyond the ones listed here, and we do not use them to build cross-site profiles of individuals for third parties.
How to control or opt out
You can control cookies and similar technologies in several ways:
- Our cookie banner. Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and load only after you click Accept. If you click Reject, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or alert you when one is set. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. Where your browser sends a recognised signal, you can also use it alongside the banner choice above.
For anything else, contact us via the details in our Privacy Policy.
Your connected-account session is not a tracking cookie
The connected-account session you grant to BeReach is not a website cookie or an advertising tracker. It is the authenticated session you explicitly provide - by entering your own session credential yourself - so the Services can act on your behalf, on your own account. You can disconnect the account at any time from your settings, which immediately stops all new activity on it. See Section 1.6 of our Privacy Policy.
