Do I have to type anything?
No. There is nothing to fill in. Press the button and you get everyone, in the order you connected with them. Sort or filter the list afterwards in your spreadsheet, where you can do it properly.
What order do they come back in?
Most recently connected first, the same order LinkedIn shows you, so the people you met last week come first.
How many can I get?
Your whole network. Keep loading to the end.
Whose contacts does it read?
Your own: the same list you see on LinkedIn.
What comes back for each person?
Their name, their headline and a link to their profile, plus their photo. Enough to recognise who they are and to open their profile when you want more.
What if the person I want is not in my network?
Then this is the wrong list to read. The people LinkedIn suggests to you are there too: the app lists them under LinkedIn suggestions, next to your connections. LinkedIn often knows about somebody before you do. Otherwise start from the people inside a company and work out who to approach from there.
Can I get their email addresses?
No. This returns what is on the profile, and an email address is not. Anyone promising you addresses from a connection list is guessing at them.
