I only need to look at one person, not a list
Then this is the wrong tool and the right one is next door: read a single LinkedIn profile without signing in. Paste the link, get the headline, experience and education, and nobody is notified.
How does the LinkedIn people search work?
Type who you are looking for, by job title, company name, location, or any combination of those. The tool returns the people who match, each with their headline, location, and a link to their profile.
Can I filter by job title or company?
Yes. Search for "Marketing Manager", "CTO at Google", "Sales Director San Francisco", or "Engineer at startups". Put quotes around a title to match it exactly, and combine several criteria in one search.
Can I filter by location?
Yes. Include the place in the search, like "Marketing Manager New York" or "Software Engineer London". The more specific the wording, the tighter the results.
Which Boolean operators are supported?
AND, OR, NOT and parentheses, all in uppercase, plus quotes for exact phrases. Wildcards are not supported.
("VP sales" OR "head of sales") AND "SaaS" is a valid search.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Download the matches as a CSV, or copy them into a spreadsheet in one click. The list is yours.
How specific should my search be?
Specific enough to exclude the obvious noise, loose enough to leave room. Start with a title in quotes, add a location if the results are too broad, and add NOT to drop the roles you keep seeing by mistake.
How much can I search for free?

What if I only have a company, not a name?
Start from the account instead: the company search by industry and size finds the business first, and who works at a company reads the people inside one you have already chosen.
