Origami Agents vs BeReach:
who writes each message.

Origami (origami.chat, formerly Origami Agents) finds customers across Google Maps, job boards and the open web and runs email and LinkedIn sequences, paid for in credits. BeReach finds the people from your own words, writes one whole message to each, and once you approve sends every invitation and message from your own LinkedIn accounts, for one monthly price with the AI included. Prices read on origami.chat on 3 October 2026.

Pick BeReach. Every message is written for one person and waits for your yes, from EUR 99 a month billed monthly with the AI included.

What Origami Agents is good at, and which Origami this is

This page is about Origami at origami.chat, the Y Combinator company formerly called Origami Agents (origamiagents.com now leads there). It is not Origami Risk, an Origami CRM or the paper art.

In its own words: "Origami gets customers for you." "Enter your website. Origami finds the best ways to get you customers. Approve with a click, and Origami runs the campaigns for you." (origami.chat, read 3 October 2026). You describe your customer in a sentence and an agent builds a table of people or companies, with researched facts as columns: "There is no filter DSL, the brief is the query" (Origami docs). It searches "Google Maps, social profiles, job boards, company sites, and the open web", finds emails and phone numbers through waterfalls of named providers, "0% markup, free if not found", and its Sequencer runs email and LinkedIn steps, "up to 10 steps each", with follow-ups that pause when someone replies (Sequencer). Every paid plan has unlimited team members.

Its own team says where it is strongest: "Local businesses, contractors, home services, trades, the 32M+ businesses in the US that don't have LinkedIn profiles or CrunchBase pages. They live on Google Maps and state license boards, and that's where we actually look." (an Origami team member on Reddit, March 2026). If that is your market, Origami is built for it. This page is for the other case: buyers who are active on LinkedIn, and three questions, who does the work, what the whole bill is, and what each tool does for you in 2026.

Who runs the outreach: Origami's settings and BeReach's yes

The first pillar, automation. Both tools run the campaigns once you approve, so the difference is in the message and in what you tune.

On Origami, a sequence is a template you shape. Each step's copy is a template, with variants, where you mark the personalized phrases "that should be rewritten per recipient" (Origami docs). Holding every message for a person to release is a campaign setting, require_message_approval, "Hold every message until a human releases it", with an endpoint that releases them all at once (same page). Each LinkedIn sender has a daily limit and send gaps, daily_limit, base_gap_minutes and random_gap_minutes, as settings you can tune (sender settings), and the Sequencer FAQ says it "respects daily limits per account".

On BeReach, you approve and it runs.

  1. Find. Describe who you sell to in your own words. BeReach plans the searches, runs them live on public data, and says so when nobody matches instead of padding the list. It starts from what people just did, a comment, a post, a new role. Thousands of people can be found in minutes.
  2. Write. It reads each person's profile, company and recent posts and writes one whole first message for each of them, with the AI built in. No template to write, no phrases to mark.
  3. Approve. Every message waits for your yes. You read the drafts and approve them, one by one or in a batch. That is your part.
  4. Send. BeReach sends the invitations every day, waits for each acceptance and delivers your approved message. You never set a pace: it spaces every invitation and message for each account, slows a new account down on its own, and stops writing to anyone who replies.

Every reply lands in your inbox and the chat, and you answer it yourself or with the assistant's draft. BeReach sends one first message per person, not a multi-step sequence: if follow-ups are the core of your process, Origami has them.

How far a week goes is set by LinkedIn's own ceiling for each account. BeReach finds thousands of people in minutes, then works through them every day at the pace each account carries: two accounts on Pro, three on Max, up to five on Max+, which is about 200 invitations a week on Pro, 300 on Max and 500 on Max+.

What Origami really costs for 1, 2, 3 and 5 LinkedIn accounts

The second pillar. Origami bills a monthly plan with a credit allowance and a number of LinkedIn senders, and each extra sender is $10 a month. BeReach bills per plan, and every plan includes its LinkedIn accounts, the AI that writes every message, the lead search, the Claude and ChatGPT connector and the API, from one monthly allowance with nothing to top up and no key to bring.

LinkedIn accountsOrigami, cheapest plan, billed monthlyOrigami credits a monthBeReach, billed monthlyBeReach, billed yearly (per month)
1$49 (Starter, 1 LinkedIn sender)4,000EUR 99 / $119 (Pro, 2 accounts included)EUR 79 / $99
2$59 (Starter + one $10 sender)4,000EUR 99 / $119 (Pro)EUR 79 / $99
3$69 (Starter + two $10 senders)4,000EUR 199 / $239 (Max)EUR 159 / $189
5$89 (Starter + four $10 senders)4,000EUR 299 / $359 (Max+)EUR 239 / $289

What the plan's credits are spent on, from Origami's own list (pricing, "Show all data sources"): 0.5 credit for each person or company a search returns, 1 for each enriched profile, 1 for each web research call, 3 for a verified email, 15 for a verified phone number, and 0.1 for each written message ("Message Generation", "Outreach copy (cold emails, social DMs, sequences)"). Exporting and talking to the agent are free. Past the plan, more credits cost $22 per 1,000 on Starter, $20 on Pro and $18 on Max, "you can buy more or turn on auto top-up". Pro ($129, 10,000 credits, 3 LinkedIn senders) and Max ($399, 30,000 credits, 10 senders) carry more credits and senders; done-for-you email inboxes are $4 a month each on Starter.

Billing basis: Origami prices are in USD a month, read on origami.chat/pricing on 3 October 2026: "Plans renew monthly", with no yearly price published, and extra senders at "$2/mo (email) · $10/mo (LinkedIn)". Each Origami row is the cheapest way to that many LinkedIn senders: Starter plus $10 senders, every row on Starter's 4,000 credits. BeReach prices are from BeReach pricing: Pro EUR 99 ($119), Max EUR 199 ($239) and Max+ EUR 299 ($359) a month billed monthly, or EUR 948, EUR 1,908 and EUR 2,868 a year billed yearly. Euro and dollar amounts are not converted. For how the other tools bill, see the true cost of LinkedIn automation tools.

Read honestly: Origami's sticker price is lower at every row, and it stays lower billed yearly. What differs is what the price covers. On Origami each search result, enrichment, research call and written message draws on credits, and each LinkedIn sender past the first is $10 a month. On BeReach the search, the AI and the sending come from one allowance, with nothing to top up.

Results and the 2026 setup

The third pillar. BeReach's own figures, as the site states them: 65% of connection requests accepted (industry average is 21%), a 22% reply rate across active campaigns, and 1,000+ teams joined this year. One customer, Jawad F., Sales Lead at Renault: "We replaced two SDRs with BeReach. Three times the meetings, a fifth of the cost." Origami states its own: "On average, customers get 3-6x more positive replies than traditional outbound" (Y Combinator page). Each is that company's own figure.

Both work with AI agents, and they are set up for different places:

Origami's facts are from its MCP and skills page and authentication page, read 3 October 2026. Any other agent gets the same as BeReach's connector through the API and webhooks. If you want to see the search side first, the free people search runs on the same public data.

Origami reviews: what users say

Few independent reviews of Origami exist yet: Product Hunt shows "No reviews yet" and there is no Trustpilot page for origami.chat (both checked 3 October 2026). What users have written, on Reddit in 2026, each answered by the pillar it touches:

  • Credits that are hard to read. "It token spending is super ambiguous." (a user on Reddit, July 2026). Since then Origami's pricing page lists a cost for each source. On BeReach one monthly allowance covers the search, the AI that writes every message and every send, with nothing to top up.
  • Hard to steer the search. "the way the agent create the grid needs to be improved. it should let the users define more precisely what they want." (a user on Reddit, March 2026). BeReach shows you the search plan, you agree it, and it says so when nobody matches instead of padding the list.
  • Too much to run. "It's over engineered instead of doing the one thing it should be doing - get people on calls with clients." (the July 2026 thread above). BeReach does one job: find the people, write each message and, once you approve, send every invitation and message at each account's pace.

Origami Agents alternatives, by the job you need done

Pick by what you want the tool to do for you. Prices are each company's own, billed monthly, read on 3 October 2026.

  • BeReach: LinkedIn outreach run for you once you approve. It finds the people from your own words, writes one whole message each and sends the invitations and messages from your own LinkedIn accounts. EUR 99 ($119) a month for 2 LinkedIn accounts, everything included. No email, no phone numbers, no follow-up sequences.
  • Gojiberry AI: intent signals with a LinkedIn and email sender. Its agents watch signals such as job changes, hiring and engagement, then run campaigns with follow-ups inside quotas you set. $99 a month for 2 LinkedIn accounts, $59 a month for each extra one, with 200 credits a month. See Gojiberry AI vs BeReach.
  • Apollo: a contact database with email sequences. Verified emails and phone numbers at volume, a dialer and email sequences; its LinkedIn steps are reminders you complete yourself. From $65 a month per user seat (Basic). See the Apollo alternative for LinkedIn outreach.
  • If you came to Origami from a signal tool, the Trigify alternatives compare the listening tools and the senders after them, and AI sales agents for B2B prospecting compared covers the wider AI SDR field.

When Origami is still the right buy

If you sell to local businesses, trades or shops that live on Google Maps rather than LinkedIn, Origami is built for that and BeReach is not. The same if you want email and phone numbers found for you, email inboxes set up, or multi-step sequences with follow-ups: BeReach has none of those. And Origami's sticker is lower at every size, so if your volumes stay inside its credits it is the cheaper bill. BeReach is the choice when your buyers answer on LinkedIn and you want each message written for one person, approved by you and sent for you, from one price with everything in it.

How to switch: bring your Origami list

  1. Export it from Origami. Origami exports to CSV, and exporting spends no credits (pricing FAQ). Or keep the people's LinkedIn profile links.
  2. Drop it into BeReach. Drop the CSV or paste the links, or describe who you want and let BeReach find them.
  3. Approve, and it runs. BeReach writes one first message for each person, and once you approve, sends at each account's pace.

BeReach has a 14-day trial with 2,000 credits, and nothing is charged before day 15. Weighing other tools too? See every LinkedIn outreach tool comparison.

FAQ

What are the best Origami Agents alternatives?

It depends on the job. For LinkedIn outreach run for you once you approve each message, BeReach. For intent signals with a LinkedIn and email sender, Gojiberry AI. For verified emails, phone numbers and email sequences, Apollo. If you sell to local businesses found on Google Maps, Origami itself is built for that.

Is Origami the same as Origami Agents?

Yes. Origami Agents is the former name of Origami at origami.chat, and origamiagents.com leads there. It is a different company from Origami Risk or Origami Software.

How much does Origami cost?

Starter is $49 a month with 4,000 credits and 1 LinkedIn sender, Pro $129 with 10,000 credits and 3 senders, and Max $399 with 30,000 credits and 10 senders, billed monthly, with no yearly price. Each extra LinkedIn sender is $10 a month, and credits past the plan cost $22, $20 or $18 per 1,000, bought by hand or by an optional auto top-up (as read on origami.chat on 3 October 2026).

Is BeReach cheaper than Origami?

No. Origami costs less at every size: $59 against $119 a month for 2 LinkedIn accounts billed monthly, and $89 against $359 for 5. Billed yearly, BeReach Pro is $99 a month; Origami publishes no yearly price. What differs is what the price covers: on BeReach one monthly allowance pays for the search, the AI that writes every message and every send, with nothing to top up.

Does Origami send LinkedIn messages?

Yes. Origami's Sequencer sends LinkedIn invitations, messages, comments and reactions alongside email, in sequences of up to 10 steps, from the LinkedIn senders on your plan.

Does BeReach send follow-ups like an Origami sequence?

No. BeReach sends one first message per person, once they accept your invitation. Every reply lands in your inbox and the chat, and you answer it yourself or with the assistant's draft.

Does BeReach work in Claude?

Yes, on every plan. BeReach plugs into Claude, ChatGPT and more as a connector: 27 tools to find people, read their profiles and posts, draft and send what you approve. On the Claude side you need a plan that supports custom connectors. Any other agent gets the same through the API and webhooks.

Can I bring my Origami leads to BeReach?

Yes. Export them from Origami as a CSV, which spends no credits, drop it into BeReach or paste the profile links, and BeReach writes the first message for each person.
