A search box, and an account list you keep.
Describe the companies you want
Type an industry, a place, a keyword, or all three. Boolean operators narrow it down when a plain phrase brings back too much.
- Industry, location, keywords
- AND, OR, NOT and parentheses
- Quotes for an exact phrase
Read the accounts that match
Every match comes back with the company name, its industry, its location, and a link to the page, so you can tell in one pass whether the search was right.
- Name, industry and location
- A direct link to each company page
- Refine and run it again as often as you like
Take the list with you
Download the accounts as a CSV, or copy them straight into a spreadsheet. The list is yours to keep and work from.
- Download as CSV
- Copy to Sheets in one click
- Refine and run it again as often as you like
Pro tip: Boolean operatorsCombine quotes, AND, OR, NOT and parentheses to cut a market into the slice you want.
artificial intelligence → broad, noisy results"artificial intelligence" → the exact phrase"climate tech" → the sector, not the two words apart
"machine learning" OR "deep learning" → either field"fintech" AND "payments" → both required"agency" NOT "recruitment" → drop the wrong kind
("SaaS" OR "software") AND "Berlin"("fintech" OR "insurtech") NOT "consulting"
Operators must be UPPERCASE · Wildcards (*) not supported
One search box, six jobs.
Building a target account list
Cut a market by industry and city, and get the accounts that fit before you spend a day looking for them one at a time.
Territory planning
See how many companies of a given type sit in a region, so a patch is sized on what is actually there.
Partner and reseller search
Find the agencies, integrators, or resellers who work in your category and could carry your product.
Competitor mapping
List who else sells into your space, and where they are based, without assembling it by hand.
Investor and deal sourcing
Screen a sector for companies matching a thesis, by keyword and geography.
Market research
Read how a market is built: which industries cluster where, and how dense a category really is.
Now turn the list into conversations.
The agent writes to each person from your own account, one message at a time and spread through the day. Nothing goes out before you say so.
Common questions.
How does the LinkedIn company search work?
Type the kind of company you are looking for, by industry, location, or keyword. The tool returns the businesses that match, each with its industry, location, and a link to its page.
Can I search by industry and location together?
Yes. "SaaS San Francisco" or "fintech Berlin" both work. Add quotes around a phrase to match it exactly, and combine several criteria in one search.
Which Boolean operators are supported?
AND, OR, NOT and parentheses, all in uppercase, plus quotes for exact phrases. Wildcards are not supported.
("SaaS" OR "software") AND "Berlin" is a valid search.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Download the accounts as a CSV, or copy them into a spreadsheet in one click. The list is yours.
Can I find the people inside these companies?
Yes. Who works at a company takes one company and returns the people in it, and the people search matches a title against a company name when you already know the role you want.
How much can I search for free?
The free tier comes with credits included and reasonable usage limits.
Find the accounts. Then reach the people in them.
