What happens when my session expires?
Account actions pause on their own and you are told, while finding, qualifying and drafting keep running.
Account actions pause automatically, and the agent tells you. Nothing fails silently and nothing is lost. Your chats, drafts and history are preserved exactly as they were.
What keeps working and what pauses
Most of the work never touches your connected account, so it carries on as normal.
| Action | While your session is expired |
|---|---|
| Finding people and companies | Keeps working |
| Reading public profiles, company pages, posts and jobs | Keeps working |
| Qualifying people against your ICP | Keeps working |
| Drafting messages | Keeps working |
| Connection invites | Paused |
| Direct messages | Paused |
Only the last two act through your own account. Everything above them runs on public data across the open web, so an expired session slows your outreach without stopping your pipeline. Queued messages stay queued, and you usually come back to drafts waiting for approval.
You will see it in the chat
You do not have to go looking for this. The agent surfaces the pause and asks you to reconnect before it tries anything through your account again.
Reconnecting
You paste a fresh session value (li_at) and the paused actions pick up again. The full procedure, including where to find that value, is on Your session expired.
