In short
- 1"Expandi Business is $99 per LinkedIn account per month billed monthly, $79 per month on annual (expandi.io/pricing, checked August 2026)."
- 2"Image and video personalization are separate subscriptions: Hyperise from $69 per seat/month, Sendspark from $49/month."
- 3"SalesRobot, HeyReach, Skylead and Dripify are cheaper per unit but still bill per account, sender, seat or user."
- 4"Only a desktop app or workspace pricing actually removes the multiplication."
Expandi's Business plan is $99 per LinkedIn account per month billed monthly, or $79 per month on annual billing, with a 7-day free trial. That is what expandi.io/pricing listed when I read it in August 2026, and the page is explicit that a seat means a LinkedIn account. The Agency plan is custom and starts at 10 seats.
Almost every "Expandi alternatives" roundup then lists seven tools and quotes prices for each. Check those quotes against the vendors' own live pages and a lot of them do not survive. One widely shared roundup prices Waalaxy Pro at EUR 39 a month when Waalaxy's page says EUR 19. Another puts HeyReach's Agency tier at $749 when HeyReach's page says $999. Stale numbers are worse than no numbers, because you build a budget on them.
So this page does two things differently. Every price below was read off the vendor's own pricing page in August 2026, with the billing basis and the per-seat basis stated next to it. And the tools are sorted by which part of Expandi you are actually trying to get rid of, not by a ranking. There are only three parts.
The three things people replace when they leave Expandi
People leave Expandi for one of three reasons: they want their sending to run somewhere other than a vendor's cloud servers, they need more channels than LinkedIn and email, or the $99 per LinkedIn account per month stops working past one or two accounts. Each reason points at a different shortlist.
The reason this matters is that the three shortlists barely overlap. If your problem is cost per account, moving to a cheaper cloud tool that also bills per account fixes the invoice by a third and nothing else. If your problem is architecture, moving to a cheaper cloud tool fixes nothing at all. Teams that skip this step switch twice.
Every Expandi alternative, with the price checked at the source
Ten alternatives, each price read off the vendor's own pricing page in August 2026 with the billing basis stated. Expandi Business sits at $99 per LinkedIn account per month billed monthly, $79 on annual. Cheaper per-account options exist, but only two tools on this list change the architecture rather than the sticker.
All figures come from each vendor's own pricing page in August 2026 and are the monthly-billed rate unless an annual rate is shown in brackets. Currencies are as listed by the vendor and are not converted. Annual discounts range from 20% (Expandi, HeyReach, Lemlist) to 50% (Meet Alfred, Waalaxy), so always check which toggle a comparison is reading before you trust a gap between two numbers.
If you are replacing cloud sending
If the thing you want gone is running your outreach through a vendor's own servers, most of the alternatives list does not help. HeyReach, SalesRobot, Dripify, Skylead, Meet Alfred, La Growth Machine, Lemlist and Waalaxy all send from their cloud, the same as Expandi. Two options change the architecture instead of the price.
Linked Helper is the desktop answer. Its site is blunt about the model, "Desktop app, not a Chrome extension", with "no code injected into the LinkedIn page". Pricing is $15 a month Standard and $45 a month Pro on the local-storage version, $29.90 and $59.90 on the cloud-storage version, all billed monthly, with longer commitments discounted and a 14-day trial. One license covers one LinkedIn account. The trade is real: the app has to be running on a machine that is on, which is exactly the convenience cloud tools sell.
BeReach takes the problem at the other end. It builds the prospect list from public data, grades who is worth your time and why, and drafts a first message for each person. A human approves every draft before it sends. One included AI model reads a prospect's public activity, checks fit against your ideal customer, and writes the message. There is no model picker and no key to bring.
You can see the model before signing up: the free AI prospect finder builds a prospect list from public data. For the wider field on this same question, see tools sorted by where the code actually runs.
Pacing is worth checking before architecture. BeReach caps invitations at 50 a day and profile visits at 120 an hour as unconditional ceilings that no plan raises. Profile visits at 300 a day and messages at 70 a day are the base rates, and a workspace multiplier scales both, so treat those two as starting points rather than promises.
If you are replacing multichannel
Expandi already does LinkedIn plus email. Its site says you can connect any email provider and follow up with InMail and email. So multichannel is only a reason to leave if you need channels beyond those two: calls, X, SMS or WhatsApp. Three tools go further, and each charges for it differently.
La Growth Machine sequences per "identity" rather than per seat. Basic is EUR 60 per identity per month for LinkedIn and email, Pro and Ultimate are both EUR 120 per identity, with Pro adding calls and Ultimate adding X. All are billed monthly with two months free on annual, and there is a 14-day trial. Enrichment is a monthly allowance per identity (250 leads on Basic, 400 on Pro, 1,000 on Ultimate) rather than an open tap.
Lemlist is the email-led option and the one with the most channels. The Email plan is $69 a month billed monthly for the whole workspace with unlimited users. LinkedIn automation sits one tier up, on Multichannel at $109 per user per month billed monthly ($87 on annual), which is also where SMS, the WhatsApp add-on and the built-in dialer live. Verified emails, phone numbers and intent signals are sold as credits on top.
Meet Alfred covers LinkedIn, X and email on its Pro tier. Pricing is $59 Basic, $99 Pro and $79 Team per user per month billed monthly, dropping to $29, $49 and $39 on annual billing. Basic caps you at 3 active campaigns; unlimited campaigns and the multichannel automation start on Pro.
Waalaxy is the cheap entry, but the channel you want decides the tier. Pro is EUR 19, Advanced EUR 49 and Business EUR 69 per user per month billed monthly, with yearly billing at half price. Cold email sequences and true LinkedIn-plus-email campaigns sit on Business, not on Pro. The free plan is a tasting menu metered at 3 actions a day per type, and the Chrome extension was retired in July 2026, so the cloud path is the path. See Waalaxy alternatives for where it fits.
If you are replacing per-account pricing
Expandi charges per LinkedIn account, so cost is a straight multiplication. The trap is that most of the cheaper alternatives keep the same basis: SalesRobot bills per LinkedIn account, HeyReach per sender, Skylead per seat, Dripify per user. Cheaper per unit is not the same as escaping the unit.
Here is the multiplication, at monthly billing on each vendor's entry tier, using the prices verified above:
Three things fall out of that table. SalesRobot's page prices in the same unit as Expandi's, "/LinkedIn acc/mo", at $59 Basic, $79 Advanced and $99 Professional billed monthly, so it saves you 40% at Basic and exactly nothing at Professional. HeyReach's flat Agency tier is $999 a month for 25 senders billed monthly, which beats stacking Growth seats from 13 senders onward ($79 x 13 = $1,027), so agencies should skip Growth entirely once they cross a dozen. And workspace pricing only helps up to the account count it includes, which for BeReach tops out at five.
Linked Helper is the cheapest per account by a distance, and that is the honest headline. It is also a desktop app with a thinner campaign builder and no cloud convenience, which is exactly what you are trading for the price. For the full add-on arithmetic across this category, see the true monthly cost of LinkedIn automation, or run your own numbers in the put your own numbers in.
The add-ons Expandi's sticker price does not include
Expandi's own pricing page marks image and GIF personalization as requiring an additional cost, and video personalization as a paid add-on through Sendspark. Those are separate subscriptions with their own bills. Hyperise's entry Images plan is $69 per seat per month billed monthly, and Sendspark's Solo plan is $49 per month billed monthly for one seat, both checked in August 2026.
That changes the comparison. One Expandi account with both visual personalization layers is $99 plus $69 plus $49, so $217 a month billed monthly, not $99. It is a fair bill for what it buys, and Expandi is upfront that the integrations are paid. But it is not the number that appears in the pricing table, and it is not the number the roundups compare against.
Two more line items to price before you compare anything: Sales Navigator, if your targeting needs it, and any proxy you are already paying for. LinkedIn's compare-plans page listed Sales Navigator Core at $119.99 a month billed monthly, or $1,079.88 a year (about $89.99 a month), and Advanced at $159.99 a month billed monthly, or $1,799.88 a year (about $149.99 a month), when I checked it in August 2026.
Where Expandi is still the right answer
Expandi is still the better buy if you want a dedicated country-based IP per LinkedIn account, a campaign builder with real branching, and an agency tier with white-label at ten or more seats. Its site lists 11 campaign types and a builder with 19 actions and 11 conditions. For a team already fluent in it, switching costs more than it saves.
Concretely, keep Expandi if you run several seasoned accounts that each need their own country IP, if your campaigns depend on if-then branching off accepts, replies and profile views, or if you are an agency that needs client reporting and white-label under one roof. Nothing on this list beats it at all three at once. HeyReach beats it on flat agency economics, Linked Helper on price per account, Lemlist on channel count, but none of those is the same product.
One thing to price into the decision honestly: the Mobile Connector. Expandi's Help Center says it "no longer bypasses LinkedIn's weekly connection request limit" while also saying that when active it "allows you to send between 50 and 100 extra connection requests per week", and that it requires 2FA on your LinkedIn account. Expandi's own limits guide puts the platform ceiling at 100 connection requests per week; LinkedIn itself publishes no figure, and the roughly-100 number is industry consensus rather than documentation. If you are optimizing for account longevity rather than volume, extra weekly headroom is the setting to leave off. If you have already collected a warning, read the real weekly connection request cap and what trips a restriction before you migrate the same behavior to a new tool.
The number that decides more than the tool
Which tool you send from moves reply rates less than who you send to. Belkins' 2026 study of 15.1 million touchpoints measured 7.9% replies on cold connect-then-message against 12.2% on warm. LeadRiver's April 2026 analysis of more than 50,000 requests puts trigger-based notes at 50-60% acceptance against 15-25% for generic ones.
Worth noting what LeadRiver does not claim: it publishes no uplift figure for first-name personalization, because it found that produces no meaningful lift. Merging a first name is not a trigger.
And treat every average above as a planning ceiling rather than a forecast. BeReach's own 2026 study of 48 workspaces and 42,236 connections found a mean response rate of 15.7% but a median of just 4.5%, with a tenth percentile of 0.4% and a ninetieth of 49.5%, and 68.3% of those responses were explicit disinterest. The average is carried by a handful of outliers. The full spread and method are here.
How to choose in one pass
Pick the reason you are leaving first, then the tool. If it is cloud sending, look at desktop or public-data-first designs. If it is channels, look at La Growth Machine, Lemlist or Meet Alfred. If it is cost per account, check whether the alternative still bills per account before you switch.
- You want less of your workflow running through a vendor's cloud. Linked Helper runs on your own machine; BeReach builds and grades your prospect list from public data and drafts a first message per person, with a human approving every send. Everything else on this list runs your sending from their cloud, including the cheap ones.
- You need channels beyond LinkedIn and email. La Growth Machine adds calls and X per identity, Lemlist adds SMS, WhatsApp and a dialer on Multichannel, Meet Alfred adds X on Pro.
- You run one or two accounts and the bill is the problem. Waalaxy Pro at EUR 19 per user per month and Linked Helper Standard at $15 per account per month are the cheapest real options, with the feature depth you would expect at that price.
- You run ten or more accounts. HeyReach's flat Agency tier at $999 a month for 25 senders is the economics to beat, and Expandi's custom Agency plan is the like-for-like comparison.
- You want fewer, better messages instead of more accounts. Warm targeting is what moves the reply rate, so a single well-aimed account with human-approved drafts can outperform a rack of cold senders. That is the head-to-head against Expandi in one line.
Whichever way you go, verify the price on the vendor's own page on the day you buy. Every number here is dated August 2026 for exactly that reason.
Every viral post is 100+ warm conversations waiting.
Tell your agent who you want to reach. It finds them, says which ones are worth your time, writes the first line, and follows up.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Expandi cost in 2026?
Expandi's Business plan is $99 per LinkedIn account per month billed monthly, or $79 per month on annual billing, a 20% discount, with a 7-day free trial. The Agency plan is custom pricing and starts at 10 seats. Those figures come from expandi.io/pricing, checked in August 2026. Image, GIF and video personalization are paid third-party add-ons on top, which Expandi's own pricing page states.
What is the cheapest Expandi alternative?
On sticker price, Linked Helper Standard at $15 per month per LinkedIn account (local-storage version, billed monthly) and Waalaxy Pro at EUR 19 per user per month billed monthly are the cheapest paid options verified here. Waalaxy also keeps a free plan metered at 3 actions a day per type, and BeReach has a free tier with 200 monthly credits. Cheapest per unit still multiplies if you add accounts.
Does any Expandi alternative avoid per-account pricing?
Few do. SalesRobot bills per LinkedIn account, HeyReach per sender, Skylead per seat, Dripify and Meet Alfred per user, La Growth Machine per identity. The exceptions are workspace pricing, where Lemlist's Email plan at $69 a month billed monthly covers unlimited users and BeReach's EUR 99 Pro plan includes two connected accounts, and flat tiers like HeyReach Unlimited at $2,999 a month billed monthly.
Which Expandi alternative is best for agencies?
HeyReach, on economics. Its Agency tier is $999 a month for 25 senders billed monthly and its Unlimited tier is $2,999 a month for unlimited senders, both with 20% off on yearly billing. Stacking HeyReach Growth seats at $79 each stops making sense from 13 senders. Expandi's own custom Agency plan, which starts at 10 seats and adds white-label and client reporting, is the like-for-like comparison.
