Your voice

Your voice is how your messages should sound, written in your words. It is what the agent drafts against once you are ready to reach out. Nothing else in a chat waits on it: finding people, grading them, and building your list all work with no voice written at all. The voice only matters the moment you want the agent to write the actual message.

What goes in it

Not a template, and not a message. The voice is the standing instruction the agent writes against, so it is closer to a short brief.

• The angle. Why this audience should care, in one sentence.
• The tone. How you actually talk. Blunt, warm, technical, dry.
• What to lead with. The thing worth opening on, usually a signal about them rather than a claim about you.
• What to avoid. Words, claims and framings you never want in your name.

Ask for it in the chat and answer the questions it asks:

Help me write my voice for this chat.

You can also just say it plainly and let the agent tidy it up:

Write like I talk: short sentences, no hype, no "hope this finds you well".
Lead with the thing they posted about, never with our funding.

One voice per chat, on purpose

The voice belongs to the chat, not to your workspace, because the right tone for founders you met at a conference is not the right tone for a cold list pulled from a competitor's comments. Two audiences, two chats, two voices.

What is shared across chats is About you, in Settings: the description of your business and who you target. That does not change per audience, so you write it once.

What it does not do

• It does not write a sequence. The voice shapes one first touch. There are no follow-ups behind it, by design.
• It does not send anything. Every message it produces is a draft you approve.
• It does not lock you in. Rewrite it whenever you want. Drafts already written keep their wording, new drafts follow the new voice.
• It does not gate anything upstream. Finding, reading, and grading people all run with no voice written yet.
